In reply to kayla. Hi Kayla- Pierogies definitely have crispier/chewier edges when baked, but should still be fluffy. Some brands of pierogies end up doing better in the oven than others. Can I ask which variety you used?

Really liked the recipe overall, but any thoughts on why my perogis came out more tough and chewy than anything? Did I do something wrong?

Hit with the family, even picky kids. Made as written but sliced the sausages into bite size pieces. Will def be in our rotation. Super easy clean up is a bonus as well.

This is a huge favorite in my house. I have actually taken to using gloves and hand tossing the pierogies in the sauce to fully coat them.
