Thanks for responding! Jill is the best! 🙂 That’s awesome about your bread cookbook. I will have to get it! I clearly don’t know much about bread since I had never heard of the “Artisian Bread Method” or used the word “slack” before (shame face). So my question is do you have a recipe that would be less slack that would work well for the garlic knots? I did look at your linked recipe, but I don’t have semolina flour on hand usually. Thanks so much!

Hi Lisbeth! Jill’s the best, isn’t she?? Thanks for being here. 🙂 It sounds like Deborah’s pizza dough recipe is much more slack than mine. Hers is based on the Artisan Bread in 5 Minutes a Day method, which has a much higher level of hydration than the dough I use. Like you said, it’d be tasty, but not super moldable. Hey! Did you know I have a bread cookbook coming out in December??

I’ve been a fan of your blog ever since my friend, Jill Jordan, made me your Tikka Masala recipe and I just HAD to have it myself! Thanks for all you do! I had a question for you. I made these garlic knots with a different pizza dough recipe (https://www.tasteandtellblog.com/homemade-pizza-dough-recipe/) and I wasn’t able to roll the dough up at all. It was too sticky! They turned into “Garlic Blobs.” They were delicious, so that was good. But I’d really love to make them into knots. Any thoughts on what went wrong? Not enough flour? But the recipe says the dough should be sticky…

Ohhh, mama!! The garlic butter put them over the top. I was a very happy camper. Thank you for this wonderful recipe which will be repeated often.

I love the line to us all not to worry if all our knots were not the same. Perfectionism—-very comforting—Lol again. Looks delish just glistening with goodness.

I don’t normally talk about ME, but please make note of the slight name change from Wild Goose Tea.
New web design too—whoopee and I am adding some new features.
