In reply to Doranne Long. Hi Doranne- I've fixed the salt. I have no idea why it was missing from the recipe, so thank you for your question. It's a very small amount of salt, so if you've already made the recipe and omitted it, don't worry!

Thank you so much for this recipe! I am commemorating today the birthday of a very dear friend who passed away in September last year 3 weeks after being diagnosed with pancreatic and liver cancer. She was so full of life, such a vivid lover of good food and good things. To our friends!

I’m so sorry for your (and Joan’s family’s loss). I lost my DH to a heart attack 3 years ago – it’s hard. I will definitely visit her site. And, now I’m going to share this post and recipe (which I can’t wait to try) with my KAF family (the ones of the devil cinnamon bar fame).
