just made your cookies and I did switch dried apples for just regular chunk apples and it turned out good! I had my neighbors taste test them and they loved them. So, Thanks for the recipe.

Is the tart apple peeled or unpeeled before grating? Also, do you use the large or medium side of the grater (I have one of those 4-sided ones)?

I LOVE oatmeal cookies! It’s true that they don’t necessarily look as pretty as others, but they are so much more satisfying and chewy. And adding caramel and apple, well that’s just brilliant!
