My favorite hummus bar none! My tip: I find that a can’s worth of liquid is far too much. After the 1st time that I made it, I will reserve all of the liquid & blend it as needed. I suspect that the brand of peas makes a difference, so I am speaking only for the cheap stuff that I buy. Thank you, Rebecca!

In reply to Melissa. Oh, I used to use a list faithfully! Somewhere along the line, though, the number of people for whom I was shopping and the need to remain flexible to take advantage of sales took over. I plan about 3 meals of the week before I go and the rest I base on what looks fresh or is on sale. I take notes while going through the store so I remember why I bought what I did, though! Reverse planning??? :)

This is just too funny, I JUST made a jalapeno cilantro hummus the other day after a friend of mine requested the flavor combination. Good call removing the seeds though as I left mine in there and it ended up overpowering the cilantro a little bit.
