Looked so good, sounded great…I followed all the directions to the letter. When told to “toss in the grated cheese and stir to melt” I wish I would have stayed with my instincts when making this. I even went back to re-read the recipe to be sure I had read it right. My thought was to remove the gnocchi from pan and then stir in the cheese so that it could be properly incorporated with the garlic butter. Instead, I ended up with globs of parmesan and smashed gnocchi, sitting in a pool of butter. Very disappointing.

There wasn’t any directions on how long to cook them on each side so I waited until they were golden brown which needed up making them be super hard and crunchy.

I found I had that problem too! It was a blended shredded mix that I got from my grocery store. when I used a fine powdered (grated?? I dunno, but it was powder like) it worked better.

It sounded so good but turned out awful. The very expensive freshly grated Parmesan Asiago Romano cheese just turned into one giant sheet of cheese that could not be separated even though I mixed it with the gnocchi and followed the directions. Won’t be repeating this one.

HAHA! I make wise requests for gift giving when people ask me what I want… They know they’ll benefit when I get the kitchen goods 😀

Hi Rie! That pretty dish is from my most favourite pottery shop: Three Clay Sisters in Angelica, NY. They’re on FB! Now the burner I’m using is a nice little portable 2 top I use for cooking demonstrations. Here’s a link for it. If you’re thinking you’d like to do a great deal of pressure canning, I’d recommend investing in THIS bad boy, instead! It’s what I use. I’m glad you’re enjoying my recipes!!!
