]]>Hi Carlee- A couple of issues could have caused this. Did you cut the ends off of the cucumbers? There is an enzyme in the ends of cucumbers which, when not removed, can cause soft pickles. Also, if the cucumbers are less than super fresh, they can yield mushy pickles.
